Bio
The duo Enrico Pieranunzi & Thomas Fonnesbaek consists of two world class musicians, Italian pianist Enrico Pieranunzi and Danish bassist Thomas Fonnesbaek. They played several concerts together during Copenhagen Jazz Festival. One of these concerts was recorded and released on Stunt Records during 2018.
When they go on stage there is an explosion of energy. The audience has the chance to experience a world class duo with two extraordinairy and giftet musicians, who are in a supreme legue on their instruments. Pieranunzi has perfect pitch, and Fonnesbaek has synesthesia (the ability to conceive music as colors). This – combined with top technically skills – results in musical interplay with almost no limits.
